  We had a great time getting tapas tonight. We went on a Saturday to get tacos, queso, empanadas, and all the other goods!
  
  The food: We got the barbacoa quesadilla, baja taco, chicken empanadas, and queso. We loved everything we got... The queso was incredible and super cheesy. The quesadilla was full of barbacoa and extremely flavorful because of it. The taco was incredible with a large piece of fried fish and baja sauce. The empanadas were good but spicy as could be to my personal tastes. We also had a spicy margarita and were impressed with how good it was.
  
  The service: We had a good server that was attentive, but there was a bit of a language barrier. Our drinks were constantly filled up.
  
  Overall, We really enjoyed it and will most likely be back!

  I'm updating this review as I'm sitting here on Taco Tuesday. I am honestly disgusted at how our second time coming here has been.
  
  Service has been slow and not good. They only have one server that is in between going inside and outside.
  
  The food was lukewarm. The lobster taco didn't even taste like lobster! It was truly nasty.
  
  The chicken quesadilla wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great either. The best thing we had was the grouper taco.
  
  It is now taking FOREVER to get our bill. Not sure if it's because it's late at night, but this shyt is ridiculous. We will never be back.
  
  I literally sang their good graces a few months ago. Sad.

  I love Bar-Bacoa! Lately, I've been frequenting all the tapas bars in Atlanta. A friend suggested Bar-Bacoa and it does not disappoint!
  
  Food: The Chile Rubbed BBQ Salmon is AMAZING! Perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked, and served over a delicious bed of creamy grits. It's definitely my favorite of all the dishes that we tried. The Mexican corn is good. It could stand to be a little more tart. The patatas bravas are good (of course you can never go wrong with potatoes.)
  This was also one of the best Sangrias that I've had in a while.
  
  Great service! Casual atmosphere. There's parking along the street in the neighborhood.
  
  Overall: Definitely give Bar-Bacoa a shot! I can't wait to go back for the nachos and the brisket Mac n cheese taco.

  I stopped here for a drink and tapas , this place was nice. The lighting , setup , and customer service was excellent.
  I tried the trailer park taco , Asian rib , and the goat cheese balls. Absolutely delicious. Oh yea they have drink specials throughout the week. I wish I didn't live so far , but I'll be back soon

  If anyone remembers the restaurant Noche that sadly closed several years ago Bar-Bacoa is the new Noche!!! Im so happy the owners decided to bring the menu & this much loved Atlanta gem back. The food & service was amazing! I must give a special shout out to James who made our drinks at the bar his drinks were on point he even made a special request drink from me & added a twist that was absolutely delicious. I was surprised that they had St Germain when I inquired about it. James even went downstairs just to get it for me. He mixed it with Avion tequila, lime juice & an orange peel. Try it if you've never had it.
  The food was so good my bf & I shared several nice sized tapas and nothing disappointed. It felt like I was back at my favorite restaurant Noche. I will definitely be returning very soon.
